The spacing between list items seems good to me. I like that it separates the items a bit more, because otherwise they tend to blend together and it's not necessarily clear what belongs together and what doesn't. Particularly the case with lists of threads with long titles for example.

just a quickie though, on my first page of pics the titles are underlined, but its not so on the other pages further back?

Hmm, I wonder if you just hit it halfway through me uploading changes. There shouldn't be a line under any of the titles.

It was definitely the wrong heading style for that spot, so agreed it's an improvement

must have done as they are gone now! looks better, thanks!

One thing Kellie just suggested maybe we can remove this block of text in the main forum index view: "This is a list of all active threads in our forum. A list of subforums can be seen on the right". It does rather push down the threads below it and probably quite unnecessarily so. Would enough people be able to work out that the subforums are listed on the right / under each thread title?

Agreed with mojorob that this text should stay; we get quite enough wrong forum threads already.
I'm still entirely of the opinion that the tds need less vertical padding (which, together with the unused vertical space for ascenders and descenders, will make the spacing look more even all around, as opposed to the even 10px which doesn't take that existing whitespace into account).

still think that some of the type looks too big....
'photos by ......
main blog page, when you click on - for e.g. spiderface, by pics
spacing also too much on this page
yr heading for this forum is way too big.....
think too much difference between pages, i.e. not that consistent
but def. getting there!

'photos by ......
main blog page

You'll have to clarify what you mean here, because as far as I can tell there is no "photos by " text on the main blog page

I personally quite like the large headings. I'm not sure that this isn't just an subjective thing, because to me the size of the headings is accommodated well by the lightness of the font.

Regarding consistency - I'm not sure if you mean consistency between pages on our main site or consistency between your blog and the main site. The blog design will always be different because I'm not going to make any significant changes there. The way to bring that into line is to create a new default blog design with the new font and retire the old one. But none of the existing blogs on that design would be affected unless they chose to upgrade.

dont think any type below 'travellers point' banner logo should be bigger than it....looks wierd to me.
numbers on photos page too big....as well as 'your photos'
your blog....too big.
there is a lot of inconsistency now, page to page....
some things are better, some not so good.

On the home page this makes some sense, but on interior pages of the site, I don't think this matters at all actually and again maintain my preference for a large heading. In fact, I'd consider reducing our header to a much smaller size in the future. See the header size on Facebook or Mashable for example. Mashable in particular shows page level headings that are much larger than the logo (depending on screen resolution). This does actually come down to screen resolution in some way - because as mentioned in that other thread, your screen is set to a fairly lower-than-normal resolution, which has the effect of making everything seem larger than it is for other people. Try at least changing that setting and see if it improves things. The ideal for us is to actually make our design adjust to screen resolution also so that lower resolutions do get slightly smaller sizes and higher resolutions get bigger ones.

Pagination size in the photography pages could indeed be fixed up though for consistency.

that must be a personal thing then, i just dont like the fact that that the travellers point logo, in the banner, is small - compared to the heading below it, on the page.

i have changed my prefrences as you suggested, vis a vis size and fit to screen. it does make things smaller, but i still think some headings are too big, and seem bigger than others too.
im talking consistency of font size when moving around the whole site, incl. blogs (incl.my own).
