I agree with Adam52. You shouldtry Langkawi. The beaches are great, its duty free, There's also a legend to the island. plan to also go there again somewhere in November with my family.

Avoid the beaches and islands on theEast Coast of Malaysia like Tioman, Perhentian due to the Monsoon,. I was in Tioman one year towards the end of January. It was so boring. Seas were rough you couldn't swim and island was quite epmty
