I will be taking a cruise from Panama Nov 16-23 (Royal Caribbean - Vision of the Seas). Ports of call will be Cartagena (Nov. 16), Bonaire, Aruba & Curacao.
I plan to do some snorkeling while at Aruba & Curacao, but woulkd love to do some birding while at Cartagena and on the island of Bonaire.
While in Cartagena, I have been told the Jardin Botanica at Turbaco is a good spot and not far away. If anyone knows any good birders who would be willing to guide and help ID species for me, I would appreciate the info. Alternatively, if you know anyone who does boat tours to mangroves nearby, that would be a nice trip too.
While on Bonaire, I would like to get to the Washington-Slagbaai National Park with a knowledgeable birder if possible. I know it takes about 45 minutes to drive there each way and would like to maybe book 4 hours plus the drive time.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and to offer possibilities!
