Want to go hiking with a couple of friends in the Belgian Ardennes sometime in early autumn. Does anyone here happen to have some personal recommendations for where to go? We're looking for an area with a variety (ideally several options for loop tracks within the 2-5 hours range) of moderately strenuous hikes; forested, hilly, mossy, babbling brooks, maybe a viewpoint or waterfall; the usual, really. :)
Also any personal recommendations for where to stay? Maybe a vacation home or somesuch? We'll probably be with 5. Someplace with decent dinner options nearby would be good.

Didn't get any replies to this, but for the benefit of future readers, I can recommend staying in or near Sy; the restaurant straight on the Ourthe is great, and there's a decent selection of decent hikes all starting here. Also in hiking distance of Durbuy, though that town is way too touristy for my tastes, and dinner options pretty mediocre (there might obviously be exceptions, but if so, they didn't advertise themselves well).
