Yeah I think that's why I want to do ranching because I'll likely not get another chance to do it. Plus with accommodation and food cheap when you live on the ranch I imagine it will be really easy to save money.
Yeah I started a few applications during the last few weeks of my degree but I just wasn't motivated for them. I just can't picture myself working away for the next 40 years in the miserable UK without having got out and messed about travelling for a least a year or two first
I studied Business Computing; yeah I'm so glad it's over as well my final project was a nightmare. Well to be fair one of the years was on placement working in IT which I enjoyed but still not ready to commit to it as a graduate haha.
Ahh you haven't booked flights? You'll need to get a move on September is fast approaching!
I'll likely still be in Sydney on the 30th so you'll have to give me a shout when you land.
Hey Olly, yeah man we'll all have to meet up us no hope/graduate/loner/travellers gotta stick together haha.
Feel free to add me on Facebook (links on my profile) as it's obviously easier to keep in touch through there!
It sounds like we're all in the same boat here!! I get really excited when I come on here hahah! I know really need to book my flight and get a move on! Sounds good to me we will have to def meet up I'll be keeping in touch and let you know when I arrive!
I'm going solo too!
Going mid-Sept, need to book Ultimate Oz and flights. I know these starter packs are a bit of a con, but I'm looking forward to someone organising days and meeting people. I'm going with no other plans so hopefully will meet people to travel around with.
You're lucky you guys are going straight after uni, I graduated a couple of years ago, rubbish job and thought what am i doing? I could be on a beach right now! ha.
Feel free to add me on FB
Hey Guys : ) another graduate/loner here! I land on Sydney at the end of October. Definitely need to travel a few years before things get serious...
Really glad I'm not the only graduate here running away to avoid settling down! haha.
Finally sorted out my WHV yesterday, it's starting to sink in that I leave soon

I arrive in Melbourne on the 29th of August. Hoping to be in Sydney for new year as everyone seems go there. I'm glad there is a few of us all doing the same thing ha. Would be good to have a meet up in oz, feel free to add me on fb too.
Nice to meet you guys : ) we seem the wise ones to avoid the serious stuff yet for sure! Is good to get to know people before getting out there! Where are you planning on spending Christmas? I'm for Bondi beach and a BBQ!
I'm a recent uni graduate and I land in Sydney the 27th October, looking to see what peoples plans are and to see if anyone wants to travel around together?
I haven't really made plans for Xmas yet, looked into Sydney but it was over £500 for 10 days which was the minimum booking - no chance ha.
As for 27th October Kieran I'll be in Brisbane by then doing ranch work by then.
You got much planned yet?
