DanOMalls has indicated that this thread is about California

Hi,

I'm looking to fly in to San Francisco in September/October time, hire a car for a month to go to Yosemite, Death Valley, Las Vegas, maybe Phoenix, Los Angeles and the rest of California. Then fly out of San Diego to Texas for a few days then on to Miami. I have no idea where to start and wonder whether it'd be easier just to drive the across, or even around, the country! Any recommendations of great places to visit or stay in between are welcomed and any tips greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

P.S. English Driving license, over 25.

Hey dan, I'm flying to NYC the 16th and then another flight to Washington then to San Fran but then hiring a car to drive to Yosemite, Utah, Gran Can and LA. It depends on how much driving you want to do or whether it will be more convenient to get a flight, accommodation looks good on here but book it on the way so nothing is set in stone :) hope this helps

Hi,
I will be in the USA next year and have a similar idea- Id really like to hear how you get on, part of my trip is by land (LA-San Diego-Vegas)

Thanks,
Lian.
