Me too, but the fact that you couldn't manage to find any reputable motorcycle rental companies in India is worrisome.

In any case there's a wealth of information on the Internet covering motorcycle touring through just about any place on the entire planet. It's an easy subject to research.

Google is your friend. Better luck next time!

Cheers,
Terry

Yes it certainly does seem like ALL your information on all the posts you make comes from Google.

Yes, I am a well researched traveller and if you need help finding decent motorcycle touring sites I'm happy to help you.

In the meantime if you need reputable guys for India use the links I gave you back in Reply #8. I have used them many times and they're top drawer guys.

Good luck!

Cheers,
Terry

haha you too! So you know your advice is bad then?

The company's you FOUND on the internet deal with top level clients that want all the bells and whistles. I acted as a guide for two British companys as a motorcycle guide in northern India for a couple of seasons. A basic tour with them would cost about 1,500 pounds. A trip you can arrange for yourself, if you have a bit of time for a fraction of that.

Why would YOU use them, if as you CLAIM you own your own bike there and Mumbai is your base? Your stories, which is all they are, just never add up.

Oh my goodness, what an excitable person you are! It must be quite remarkable to magically know everything about everyone on the Internet! LOL!

I sometimes use Indian Bikes and Enfield Riders when friends, acquaintances and clients come to India. Depending on the job - I work in film production - I also use both companies every now and then with I work there, depending on circumstances.

Now, go settle down with a nice cup of chai, Mr. Excitable Person.

Namaste!

Yes and it must be lovely for you to have such a vivid imagination, and be able to just create little stories all day long, certainly you don't seem to have much time for anything else, and you have certainly never given any actual advice to anyone here that wasn't garnered from the internet.

Ok well I'm off to go ride a real motorcycle. Happy dreams!! :)

please mention the details . I am planning to go to Ladakh on motorcycle.

Sorry sush but now is not the time to be going to Ladakh. Unless you have spiked tires. Sorry for the answer delay but I'm already here, have been on the road for a couple of weeks and have been as far north as Agra and now I'm back in Mumbai. Only direction from here for me is south.
