I know I posted many new threads and sorry for that.
I have a guide book which consists of Central London map, West and East London, Thames Valley's map, Oxford, Stratford as wellas other main city. But my concern is: i need to get maps of the specific places like Cotswolds, New Forest, Dartmoor, Canterbury and more. How am i going to do that? Purchase online? Wait until I reach at the airport or get the stuffs from anyone i know in uk?
There is a national mapping agency called "Ordnance Survey". You can buy their maps from the website (they have a frightening array of maps of everywhere in Britain), or you can look at the maps free online:
Get stuff in the UK. As mentioned, the OS does a huge array of maps, including specialist ones for areas like the Cotswolds, and your best bet is to have a browse through them in a shop there before you purchase.
If your going to be in London first, go to Stanfords the map shop, (www.stanfords.co.uk/) near Covent Garden. They have a huge array of maps and the staff are fantastic as well in suggesting things if your not sure which will be best.
