Thanks for the info.

Just cause I'm buying a one way ticket doesn't mean I'm going to stay as long as I want. I've done my research so I think I have a better idea than you of what plane tickets will cost me (one way and round trip.) Also, I've been to Thailand a couple time before and once on a one way ticket. I'm just going there and winging it!

Also, this thread is about people who are going to be in Thailand for Songkran. Not to get info on visas!

of course Bangkok, because it is the capital of Thailand, many cultures meeting here to celebrate the new year

I think you can probably have fun anywhere in Thailand during songkran. We spent songkran in a small village on Ko Lanta and even that was a full afternoon of staged water battles.
