Hello,

Why go to England and Scotland and not do a Whisky tour? Well, I am looking for a place to do one and here are the places I will be; London, Bath, Llangollen, Whitby, Edinburgh, Glencoe, and Richmond. Any thoughts???? We will be in Great Britain in Late June - Early July.. Thanks for the help.

Matt

Hey Matt,

there are several good areas for whiskey tours in Scotland, there's the Speyside, which has the majority of all the scottish distilleries and also the Islands, which distill my favourite type of Single Malt.
I am in an Internet cafe at the moment, but when I am back home I will check my Whisky guide. Most of the distilleries have visitor centres and some of them do tours, which are usually quite interesting. I myself did the tour in the Bushmills Distillery in Northern Ireland, which was great.
I will get back as soon as I have more info. If you want I can send you a PM with the website/email addresses of the distilleries so that you can check them out before you go over.

Take care.

Phil.
