Postgate, don't ever judge your life so time will show! Breakfast is really important. This is an undeniable fact. That's the conclusion. Of course, a healthy human-being with regular breakfast consumption doesn't mean he/she is having a 'real' and 'fill' health...diets, eating habits, way of life, pressure, emosions, eq and lots of thing.

I wish everyone of one is in the best form everyday!

Breakfast, known as the most important meal of the day. Is it that important? I don't think so. You can skip breakfast and your mind will still function and you will still breathe, walk and talk. And no, that is not all. Think of the possibilities, open your mind. You could even read, write and have a very educational discussion. I didn't eat breakfast this morning, are you saying i'm not functioning?

Postage, it is apparent in this thread that most people skip breakfast in the morning and it seems to me they are ALL functioning just fine. But it is also safe to assume that it is hard to argue with medical studies and research in the matter.

I dont think anyone has established in these studies that skipping breakfast will cause you to stop breathing, walking or talking but anyone with any sensical knowledge will know that. I think you are missing the point of the thread. I did a quick internet research where I was able to find some info that may be helpful to you:

Happy breakfast!

"... Think of the possibilities, open your mind. You could even read, write and have a very educational discussion..."

You could even attend a sales motivational meeting, punch your fists in the air, and shout " I'm alive! I'm well! I feel great!" then grab a cup of coffee on the run

Eating breakfast evens out your metabolism, so it really is better for you to have breakfast..

I usually have weetabix in the morning. Or any other assorted low sugar cereal type. For some reason sweet cereals just don't go down well in the morning with me...

I'm one of those (apparently rare) morning people, so breakfast is a must. I particularly love going out for breakfast - crepes and fresh-squeezed orange juice or bagels with lots and lots of coffee. Mmm. I can't live without it. Having lunch as my first meal of the day just feels all wrong.

Breakfast is indeed a very important meal. Looking at the root words "Bre" and "akfast" you can see you should not skip it!

Bre: Bachelor of Religious Education.

Akfast: To do something quickly

You must use your waking hours to energise your body. Having a complete meal and some light excersise and stretches really can help to get you through anything.

I'm a bit of a nocturnal creature. I tend to eat late in the evening. The morningtime disagrees with me...and I usually skip breakfast, although I'm trying to get into a routine of having some cereal or eating some fruit. I'm always flying out the door to work in the mornings so i never leave time for breakfast. I need to get up earlier

Eating breakfast kickstarts your metabolism and helps your body to burn fuel more efficiently during the day. Also, if you eat breakfast you are less likely to snack during the day.....

I thought you ate Cheerios for breakfast... and a big bowl of them at that ?
