Hi! I hope you guys are able to help me here as in traveling in a weeks time does anyone know if Kota kinabalu must be guided or can it be done independently?
another thing is, may I know if there's cheaper alternative to diving in sipadan or layanglayang?
Do you mean Mt Kinabalu? No - there's a check-point as you start at Timpohon Gate and another just after Laban Rata which can be closed if the peak is closed due to bad weather. Neither can be passed without a guide.neutral:
Alright, thank you. We are actually ditching the idea climbing that mountain. anyway have anyone crossed borders of malaysia to indonesia in order to get to kakaban island?
Or if anyone know how to get to kudat and niah cave in the most cost efficient way?
Need some help in there! and ASAP :D Thanks.
To get to Kudat, a minivan from KK will take about 4 hours and costs MYR25 each person.
thank you!! where is the best place to get this mini van?
Still need to know how to get to kakaban, anyone?
The mini van goes fromn the bus park on the Jalan KK By-pass, not far from the Atkinson clock tower.
Kakaban - no idea - sorry!
