An earthquake off the coast of Indonesia hit earlier today. Scientists fear that it may cause another tsunami.

Just to be clear, there hasn't been another tsunami. There are also a dozen or so Australians missing in the area affected. Indonesia is certainly not having much luck lately!

After the boxing day earthquake, experts predicted the exact place of this earthquake, but did not know when it would happen, they also predicted a 3rd one will happen close to the epicentre of the boxing day one, but they don't know when this one will happen either (it could be months, it could be years).

anybody know exactly where has been worst hit this time?

island Nias.

the death toll would have been far higher in places like Banda Aceh, except there were hardly any buildings left standing from December's earthquake and tsunami....

Everything is fine in Bangkok, do not worry. When they say it was felt in Thailand, it was only felt as a slight tremor, but most people didnt feel it. You will be fine. :)
