If on a budget, South East Asia would be good for you for culture, history and sun. Don't get put off by Thailand, you can easily visit some places then move to Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Philippines... the works. You can use that budget not just for one country

@ ritu there's always a legacy behind where ever I hv been to.. lol but yeah one needs to be bold enough to take a call and take that first step out of the comfort zone...
