Does anyone know if you can get a Chinese and Mongolian visa in Seoul, South Korea? I am hoping to take a job teaching English there for a year and would like to travel back on the Trans Siberian Express via Mongolia.
Any help would be very much appreciated x
There should be a Chinese embassy in Seoul. Have you checked online?
Thank you! It was staring me right in the face! I can start to plan my route properly now!
I'm considering working in China for a month, maybe longer teaching English. CAn anyone advise on working VISAs? Do i need to apply for one before leaving home or can I get one on arrival in China?
Thanks again everyone,
Working visa's can very complex. Your employer arranges it after you have signed a contract. Most places want you to sign for 12 months. If you arrive with a tourist visa, that can be exchanged for a work visa later on. However, whoever you work for will probably just extend your tourist visa for another month. Be warned though that they may also want to hold your visa. This could restrict your own free movement
