Pretty straightforward,

we seem to get lots of posts from inexperienced travellers looking for guidance or to have their fears quelled,
sum up in a sentance your best advice or mantra to put worried or unsure people on the right track.

It's so much easier than you think, with amazing people around the world that are just waiting to help you on your way.

Although it doesn't guide or eliminate fears, I identify a lot with this sentence:

"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page."

I think when our quest for experience and knowledge of the world becomes a priority, travelling appears as something natural to us. Now, after some years as a traveller, I am more frightened of staying too long in my hometown than leaving to discover an unknown place!

You will probably bring too much of some stuff, and not enough of other stuff, you'll miss things, and at some point you'll feel scared, and at others burnt out, and you'll probably ask yourself "what am I doing?" a few times. But years from now, you'll forget all the doubts and only remember the awesome adventures. And it'll all seem SOOO worth it.

Interesting piece there Greg, as you rightly said , a gentle nudge in the right direction benefits us all at some point, not just in our travels, but in everyday circumstances too.

Im pleased things are working out for you.
