Travel Forums System Talk mapping and photos

I am heading out on my 4 month trip in less than a month and have been trying to organize my blog, pictures and map. So I have a couple questions,

1. in my map - I have 41 stops -- can they be numbered in order as they are in the side ( dated and numbered)

2. how do I put the photos inside the blogs? rather than always in the photo gallery

3. I have been doing a trial run with some friends to make it easier to follow my blog. I have given them the suesworld.travellorspoint.com
but it comes up with this forum - not directly into my blog. so they have a couple steps to get into it. I would like them to just be able to save the url and be able to access it. Is it also true , that in order to get a automatic email when I enter a blog, they have to be signed up to travellorspoint? And also if the want to message me on that or any or the blogs, they have to be a member?

Thank you in advance for your help,

Sue

When you write a new blog entry, there's a little white and blue rectangular icon in the bar right above the big textarea, saying Picture. Click that, and you'll get a new window listing all your photos, with the ability to select the size at which you want to insert them into the blog entry. (There's also tabs at the top of this window to insert photos from flickr or anywhere else, or to upload a new one.)

They probably added "www" in front of it or something. Give them the following, including the http:// bit:
http://suesworld.travellerspoint.com/

Is it also true , that in order to get a automatic email when I enter a blog, they have to be signed up to travellorspoint?

It isn't. If they follow the "subscribe" link in your sidebar, and go to http://suesworld.travellerspoint.com/subscribe/, they can enter their email address there, and will automatically get an email everytime you update your blog.

And also if the want to message me on that or any or the blogs, they have to be a member?

If they want to send you a private message (via your profile), they do need to be a member. By default they also need to be a member to be able to comment on your blog (this is to prevent spam comments), but you can enable comments from anyone (and since your blog is password protected, it's perfectly safe to do this without risk of spam comments). You do this in your blog management area, on the "settings" page, where you should change the setting "Anyone can comment (not just Travellerspoint members)" to "yes" (and then click the "Update settings" button at the bottom of that page).
After you've done that, they won't need to be a member, and can just always comment on your blog posts.
