Viewing Photos entered in a blog in a my Gallery

Travel Forums System Talk Viewing Photos entered in a blog in a my Gallery

1. Posted by hasbeen (Respected Member 602 posts) 2y

Hello,

Inside my blog I have thumbprints, regular & large photos.

1. I would like for viewers of my blog do see a particular photo as it appears in my photo gallery, so they can see it full size & the details

Is this possible?

2, Is there a way to automatically load some or even all Photo's EXIF info using the Uploader?

3. If I click a thumbprint to view full size, it only looks to be a medium not large. Is this normal or do I need to change something to get it bigger, full screen would be even nicer.

Thanks

Steve

With "details" you mean date and location? As far as I know there's nothing for that, alas, other than writing it manually in your blog.

Some EXIF data is used by the uploader (GPS coordinates for example), but things like aperture, shutter speed, etc are currently completely ignored. Not enough photography geeks around for it to be worth it to extract that information, alas. Would still be nice to do something with it, though!

This is normal, but a relic from the very earliest days of the blogs, when that medium size was the largest size available. Would be a good improvement to (at the very least) make that new window show the large version instead, if not do something way fancier altogether.

I think what I really meant was this - When a person views a photo on a blog, I would like him to be able to click the photo or a link or something, and the person is sent to my Gallery where everything available for that photo is stored, including a quite nice map of where it was taken.

Thanks - it was worth asking. I had seen someones photo with some info like that I I guess now, that he wrote it himself. That's way toooooo much work for my liking.

I asked this question in earlier ( above) but still do not know the answer. I will re-phrase it.

1. How can I view a photo that appears in a blog, in the Gallery?

2. And vice Versa - In the Gallery, How can I see which blogs have used a photo?
