after years of complains and protests from the tourists the English Heritage finally agreed to re-build the famous Stanehenge ruins.
The whole area is a total wreck at the moment. The falled stones will be moved to their original place and the whole structure covered by a glass roof. The missing stones will be replaced by a plastic immitation.
The spokenperson for the English Heritage said:
“We are very serious about this project – it is a far better legacy to leave to future generations than any other recent project, and we hope to gather momentum and the support of the public, at least as much as for our Olympic bid and far more than those fooled into supporting the Millennium Dome.”
