35 years after modernising it's monetary system and 5 years after ajdusting it's outdated weight system to the European and international standards - the UK is the forefront of progress by reforming it's archaic way of measuring time.

From the 1st January 2006 the UK clocks goes decimal. Instead of the very confusing system dating back to the Roman Empire - british scientists from the Greenwich Royal Observatory designed much easier to use system in line with an informatic technology.

Watches with a new clockface are already on sale in London shops and are very popular with tourists who buy them as souvenirs.

oh no, not for another 20 years.

politicians here are so proud of the past imperial glory of this country and it's independence from the international politics that they would rather accept the US $ then give up to those german and french bankers.
