Oh heyyyy
Same as me my friends think I'm crazy but its something I've always wanted to do! We should go on the same week for ultimate oz haha I haven't booked anything as of yet! Do you have Facebook or anything then you can send me a message when you have an idea of when you'll be there :)

i am the same been wanting to go for about 16 years when i first went to australian and have been planning on going for the last 10 years and have finally decided to suck it up and take the plunge :-)

Does anyone know how far in advance you have to apply for a visa? I'm clueless haha!

Well in booking. Oz intro or ultimate. Oz and they do visa for u sorry im no help ;p

Oh yeah I've read that somewhere actually. Does it work out cheaper/more expensive doing it through them than doing it yourself?

Anywhere from one day to one year, but it's recommended to do it at least two weeks in advance, just in case there's any hickups. But for most people, visa approval (when applying through the official department of immigration website) takes a couple of hours. There's no downsides to applying a couple of months in advance, though.

More expensive. Definitely recommended to do it yourself. Just as easy, too - you'd need to provide all the same information anyway.
