James 3.5-7 - The tongue is only a small part of the body. Among all the parts of the body the tongue is a whole wicked world in itself. Wild animals and birds, reptiles and fish can all be tamed by man, and often are; but nobody can tame the tongue - it is a pest that will not keep still, full of deadly poison.

There's a quote saying:" Speak the way you blow up the flowers with great fragrance or else, you'll have your mouth throwing out those venomous snakes!"

I experienced the ultimate "I wish I could take it back" moment when I was in 8th grade. It was the homecomming dance. To make a short story even shorter, a girl whom I did not think was attractive asked me to dance. I said no. She started crying. She said "You wont dance with me because I'm ugly!" I didn't care if she was upset because I wouldn't dance with her, but I never like to see anyone get their feelings hurt. Suddenly my mission was to make this girl feel like she was not ugly, but great looking! I immediately had to tell her how I felt... and it came out like this:

I don't know how, but it made sense at the time, and I honestly thought I was going to make this girl feel better about herself.

Less than 0.008 seconds after those words had left my mouth I suddenly realized what I had done! What followed was the first punch square in the nose that I ever took , and it was from a girl. The girl who was "not that ugly", at the time I wished that I could have taken it back. But its all kind of funny now that I think about it.

Yeah, a classic there, Evan.

Too bad it's 3am now and I can't laugh out loud without waking everybody up.
