Das Bed & Breakfast La Giara befindet sich im Ort Nicolosi (südl. des Etna) in einem Wohngebiet in der Viale della Regione. In unsere Nähe befindet sich auch die Autobahn Richtung Catania oder Arcireale. Der Rifugio Sapienza und die Seilbahn für den Etna erreicht man in ca. 30 Minuten. Das Haus verfügt natürlich auch über einen Privatparkplatz. Die Zimmer sind sehr ruhig und sehr hell, zu jedem Zimmer gibt es ein privates Bad mit Dusche. In der Nähe befindet sich die Eiskunsthalle und auch die mittelalterreiche Stadt kann man zu fuß erreichen.Für Naturliebhaber bieten wir persönlich zugeschnittene Exkursionen mit Begleitung an, z.B. kann man eine Wanderung auf dem Vulkanweg vornehmen oder Exkursionen zu den Gole di Alcantara oder auch Wanderungen "enogastronomiche„ (Weinprobe und gastronomische Spezialitäten-Verkostung). Zu unserem Angebot gehören auch Trekking, Mountain biking, Snowboarden und Ski alpin (jahreszeitabhängig), rafting und canyoning (auch jahresabhängig). Für Städteliebhaber gibt es viel zu sehen, denn die schönsten sizilianischen Städte liegen in unserer Nähe, wie z. B. Taormina, Castelmola, Savoca, Tindari, Acicastello, Acitrezza, Catania, Caltagirone, Siracusa, Noto, Ragusa, Modica. Zu dem gibt es die Möglichkeit in ein Freizeitpark und Zoo, Etnaland, zu gehen, das größte Wasserparadies in ganz Süditalien, das 15 km entfernt ist.
