Cozumel
Cozumel means "Island of the swallows" in Mayan. Cozumel is an island in the Caribbean Sea opposite Playa del Carmen. It is one of the 9 municipalities of the state of Quintana Roo on the Yucatan Peninsula. It is the third-largest island in Mexico and the largest Atlantic Island of Mexico.

Great location and great service from Elaine...Also, the breakfast was great. Only comment is that our king-size bed was really two twin beds put together, so was not so comfortable. Also, bring bug spray/raid tablets - Cozumel is a tropical island and you will need it! Overall, a very good time at Tamarindo. ... more
