Tulum
Tulum is located about an hour's drive south of Playa del Carmen, in the state of Quintana Roo on the Yucatan Peninsula. The tourist destination is now divided into three main areas: the archaeological site, the pueblo (or town), and the zona hotelera (or hotel zone).

I really felt at home here, breakfast was a treat to wake up too and having a bike made it super easy getting to the beach, town, and some near by Cenotes. The only problem I found was it is pretty loud because you right on the highway but ear plugs came in very handy and after that I had no issues. ... more
