We stayed for about 2 weeks in dorm. The location is not a very cultural part of the city, but is in the central business district. Everything is cleaned daily. Kitchen was very small and poorly equiped for such a big hostel. If you book a long stay you can get discounts, but prices we paid when we got here were higher than we expected. Instead of $60 price was $70. We were told we must be a member of "Hosteling International" for the "special" price - not mentioned when booked online. Smokers beware- it is a smokefree campus and though many people sneak a cigarette on the balcony, the staff is required to hassle you for it. You have to go out the main entrance, down several flights of stairs and a pair of locked doors to wait on. Overall, staff made the difference to make it a very pleasant stay. We were robbed when we arrived in the city and they accomodated us until we were able to get money, etc. Thanks especially to Jorge for lending us money
