Jason's International Youth Hostel - Midtown

I itched from their mattress, and the room was so dirty. It is not safe, they have everyone on the streets stay with them and it is creepy if you are traveling alone, and female. I found other hostels close by and stayed else where. Its not the greatest location. They do have meals for guests.
Qupqugiaq Inn

Qupqugiaq Inn is a great place to stay, it has a unique feel and very home style approach. The rooms are clean, they provide towels -shampoo-and soap. Also have private bathrooms as well as shared bathrooms. This Inn is 3 miles from downtown, and there are buses out front to get downtown. The manager Jennifer is very friendly and nice, and James was very helpful with our luggage. Breanna is a doll and very helpful with where to eat. They did not charge us parking fee for our rental car. They have internet which is great when traveling, and we did not want to leave. Great Inn in Alaska, it has got to be Qupqugiaq Inn. We will be back.
