Somos una familia costarricense con un hotel estilo rustico y familiar. Ofrecemos 9 habitaciones, cómodas limpias y bien mantenidas. Cinco de las cuales tienen una excelente vista del volcán, todas las habitaciones cuentan con baño privado, tv por cable y un ventilador. Algunas cuentan con refrigerador y caja de seguridad. La reacción general de nuestros clientes es que están recibiendo un lugar mucho mejor de lo normal por este tipo de dinero. Estamos situados en una esquina muy tranquila del centro de la ciudad. El centro de la ciudad está a solo 200 metros, donde puede encontrar la mayoría de restaurantes y tiendas. El centro de la fortuna está a 15 kilómetros (10 millas) de distancia del lado activo del volcán. Desde la fortuna es fácil conseguir un tour para conocer el volcán arenal y sus increíbles alrededores, jungla, montañas y el Lago Arenal. Trabajamos en conjunto con Red Lava Tours, que ofrece las mejores excursiones para visitar el volcán y muchas otras actividades que pueden ayudar a planificar. También son con los que trabajamos para el transporte a nuestro hotel (ver direcciones). Ellos hablan Alemán, Holandés, Ingles y Español y un poco de francés así que la comunicación nunca es un problema. We are located on the road to the La Fortuna waterfall. The scenery is spectacular as we are very close to the Arenal volcano. Most cabins have a terrace facing our tropical garden and the La Fortuna river.

The Sleeping Indian Hostel located in La Fortuna is named after little chain of mountains next to the Arenal Volcano..known by the locals as El Indio Dormido- The Sleeping Indian as it resembles a big fat indian lying down.
