The Theme: Architecture

Often, a place's most recognizable features are its buildings. The Eiffel Tower. The Petronas Twin Towers. The Taj Mahal.

This month, our photo competition theme is architecture. For a chance to win a $50 Amazon voucher, a Globetrotter's Logbook and an increase of your photo storage limit by 5GB, submit up to 3 of your best photos with the theme of architecture.

The runner-up will receive a Globetrotter's Logbook and a 5GB increase of their photo storage limit.

Nominate photos between November 3 and November 30.

Terms

Anyone can enter. Travellerspoint staff are not allowed to win.

For every photo you enter, you must:

• have a high resolution version (4megapixels or higher)
• own the copyright
• the photo can not have won or been runner-up in a previous competition

You are allowed to enter photos you uploaded to Travellerspoint before, even if they haven't been featured. The moderators will take another look at any photo tagged for the competition.

By entering your photo, you're also giving Travellerspoint a non-transferable, non-revocable right to use it to promote Travellerspoint. You will still own the copyright, and full credit will be given to you for the photo.

Nomination

You can nominate up to three photos. Only those featured by our photo moderators will be selected. If you'd like to nominate a photo that you uploaded to Travellerspoint previously, but that wasn't featured, you can still nominate it. The moderators will take another look at any photo tagged for the competition.

If you're nominating a new photo:

• Go to your photo upload page and upload your photos as per usual.
• Under Tags, add these two tags: comp21 and architecture.
• If you have tagged your photo correctly, it will appear on this page.

If you want to nominate a photo that you have already uploaded to Travellerspoint:

• Go to your private photo gallery.
• Tick the "select" box under the photos you want to nominate. Once you've selected all the photos you'd like to nominate, click "Edit Selected" at the bottom of the page.
• Under Tags, add these two tags: comp21 and architecture.
• If you have tagged your photo correctly, it will appear on this page.

Featured nominated photos will appear on this page.

Voting

The winner will be decided by a popular vote.

Voting opens on November 30 and closes on December 22.

The winner will be announced in the December newsletter, as well as on the Travellerspoint blog.
