Travel Guide About:What you can edit
Whether you've been around Travellerspoint a long time or a short time, you can edit pretty much any article. Heck, we don't want to discourage you from contributing, do we?!
But there are some articles and pages which have been given special status, which means that you might not be able to edit them, depending on your Travellerspoint status.
Articles which have been featured can only be edited by full members and above. Find out whether an article is featured or not by looking at the main toolbar at the bottom of the article: if it's featured, it will have a star and say "Featured Article". Unless you're a Full Member, there will be no "edit" buttons anywhere on the page.
Articles which have been locked can only be edited by respected members and above. Articles get locked for a variety of reasons: they might be locked because they've been targeted by spammers; they might be locked because they have been turned into a battleground; or they might have been locked because they are an About page (like this one).
To see whether an article has been locked, scroll down to the bottom of the page and see if there's a "Locked" icon. Unless you're a respected member, there will be no "edit" buttons anywhere on the page.
No one (except for Travellerspoint staff) can edit a page that is outside the Guide (ie. any page whose URL does not start with: http://www.travellerspoint.com/guide/). The main Guide page is also not editable.
We don't currently have any Travel Helpers for About:What you can edit
