Community Manager and Support Officer @ Travellerspoint – Part Time

We're one of the web's leading travel communities with over 435,000 members from 246 countries around the globe.

Located in Melbourne's Little Collins Street, we're now searching for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to help out with community management and customer support.

The role will work directly with the two co-founders (Sam and Peter) with the opportunity to really make it your own within this exciting and sought-after space.

What you'll look after:

• Travel and community content on the Travellerspoint Blog
• A monthly newsletter going out to over 100,000 members
• Social media feeds including Twitter and Facebook
• Bimonthly photography competitions
• Site-wide moderation of community-generated content
• Featuring and curation of content across the site
• Customer support and accommodation booking queries
• Property matching initiatives for the accommodation area

We're looking for someone who:

• Loves travel and is knowledgeable about the industry
• Is a self-starter and manages their time well
• Understands the social landscape and has experience in social media
• Has solid attention to detail and can multitask
• Is computer savvy (Mac/PC) with HTML/CSS skills desirable
• Likes being connected, social and out there at events
• Can ideally work two to three days per week between Monday to Wednesday

Renumeration will be pro-rata and commensurate to experience.
