Antelope Canyon is a beautiful slot canyon located on the Navajo Nation near Page, Arizona. The canyon was formed through erosion, which smoothed the sandstone walls into a graceful, flowing shape. There are two main sites: Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon. Because the canyon is on the Navajo Nation, the only way to visit is by a guided tour.
There are tours to Antelope Canyon 7 days a week. Opening hours are between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
Tours of Upper Antelope Canyon last 1.5 hours, while tours of Lower Antelope Canyon last an hour. There are also photographers' tours, which are limited to 2 hours in Upper Antelope Canyon and 4 hours in Lower Antelope Canyon.
It is also possible to tour Water Holes Canyon with Slot Canyon Hummer Adventures. They offer 3-hour and 5-hour tours.

The best options is to find accommodation in Page, just west down the main road. It has options ranging from campgrounds to a few luxury places and everything in between, including many of the chain hotels and motels.
