Travel Guide Europe Ireland Cliffs of Moher
The Cliffs of Moher are located at the southwestern edge of The Burren area near Doolin, which is located in County Clare. The cliffs are one of the most spectacular places to visit in the country and tower above the Atlantic Ocean, in some places above 200 metres above sea level. Together with the Ring of Kerry, they are probably the most visited tourist destination in Ireland, but still they never loose anything of their beautiful character. One of the best ways to view the awesome nature of these cliffs is from sea level. Several companies offer cruise trips out of Doolin. Try Cliffs of Moher Cruises to check the options.
The Cliffs of Moher can be reached by taking the R478 from Liscannor to Doolin. There's a car park that costs €8.
