Introduction

Conwy is a beautiful walled harbour town in North Wales where the majestic Snowdonia mountain range meets the sea.

Sights and Activities

• The town is enclosed within the castle walls of an 11th century Edward 1 castle, built to keep out the marading Welsh!

The castle is magnificently picturescue and is in excellent condition and a visit will take you back to "Knights of old".

• Down at the small harbour the catch of the day can be viewed and harbour boat trips can be taken.
• Inside the walls are many gift shops selling Welsh produce - including Welsh Gold and Welsh Tea shops, don't forget to try the Bara Brith or Welsh cakes.
• There are two original merchants' houses left in the town and both are well worth a visit. They are haunted so watch out for that spooky experience!
• Outside the town is a large modern marina, there are plenty of guesthouses and small hotels in the town. Conwy is easy to get to with a train station and bus services to the town.

The Royal Mail provides postal services in the United Kingdom.
