Travel Guide Africa South Africa Mpumalanga Dullstroom
Dullstroom is a small, rather uninteresting town in Mpumalanga, South Africa, unless you are a fan of fly-fishing. For those travelling from Johannesburg or Pretoria, Dullstroom does provide a useful stop-off on the way to the Kruger National Park. It's around 145 kilometres from Dullstroom to the Phabeni Gate at Kruger National Park.
Apart from the fly-fishing, the Birds of Prey Rehabilitation Centre (situated just outside the town on the road to Belfast) is a worthy diversion.
Coming from Johannesburg or Pretoria on the N4, travellers should take the turn-off for Belfast and then the R540 north to Dullstroom.
