Eindhoven Airport is one of the smaller, but fast growing, airports in the Netherlands, but it has connections to various cities in Europe. Ryanair is the major airline operating from Eindhoven Airport, but smaller airlines like Wizzair, Transavia and Correndon also operate from here. In the holiday season, there are also charter flights to and from popular holiday destinations.

The airport is located to the northeast of the city along the A2 motorway. The airport is signposted well in advance, and also after leaving the motorway.
The airport is connected to the center of the city by bus lines 401 and 145, which start and end at the central railway station in the middle of the city. The ride from the station to the airport takes approximately 25 minutes. Bus line 401 leaves every 10 minutes during the day; in the morning and evening the frequency is less, but there are still several departures an hour. Busses run from 6:08 until 0:06 from the station to the airport, and from 6:00 until 23:54 from the airport to the station.
