Essex Junction has its own school district until the highschool level, where it becomes a Union with other towns. There are two elementary schools in Essex Junction, Hiawatha and Summit Street. Both schools are for kindergarten through 3rd grade. Thomas Fleming School combines students from the previous schools for 4th and 5th grade. The middle school is Albert D. Lawton, and hosts 6th - 8th grades.
Essex High School combined with the Essex Town school district. This is home to Essex Technical Center for students from all over the state.

The US Postal Service is very good and well priced mail system. There are post offices in every small and large town for sending packages internationally or domestically. If wanting to send a letter or postcard it is best just to leave it in a blue mail box with the proper postage. There are also private postal services like FedEx, UPS and DHL.
