Introduction
A small town north of Chiang Mai on Route 107, mostly bypassed by travellers heading to the larger town of Thaton.
A traditional and quiet town where the backstreets are lined with old wooden shop buildings,

Sights and Activities
- Karen and Mien hilltribe villages
- Wat Jong Paen a Shan/Burmese style temple
- Fang Hot Springs - Located 10 kilometres west of Fang at Ban Meuang Chom are hot springs which are part of Doi Fang National Park.
Here you can take a dip in the hot spring pools, or just admire the natural wonder of the geysers.

- Baan Sabai Hotel - Tel: 053 453453, 700bt. Located on the road coming from Chiang Dao just before entering Fang. A new 3-storey hotel with large, well furnished comfortable rooms.
