Introduction

The departements of Doubs and Jura which form much of Franche-Comté must be some of the most neglected in France.

Geography

Jura has a frontier with the Swiss Jura and has picturesque mountains. Doubs, which contains the capital of Franche Comté is an area where beautiful rivers predominate.
