La Guardia Airport (IATA: LGA, ICAO: KLGA) is one of the three major airports in the New York City area, operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

LaGuardia is located in Queens, 8 miles (13 kilometres) from downtown Manhattan.
Public Transit
There are four bus services from the airport that connect with the subway system.
- M60 (Manhattan and Astoria)
- Q33 (Central, US Airways and Delta terminals)
- Q47 (Marine Air Terminal)
- Q48 (Flushing, Queens)
The fare is $2, and can be charged to a MetroCard.
Taxis
Taxis to/from LGA bill according to their meter. Expect to pay $20-40, depending on route and traffic conditions.
