Introduction

La Guardia Airport (airport code: LGA) is one of the three major airports in the New York City area, operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Getting To Manhattan

JFK is located in Queens, 8 miles from downtown Manhattan.

Public Transit

From LGA, there are four bus services that connect with the subway system. The four routes are the M60, the Q33, the Q47, and the Q72. Schedules, maps and subway connects are available at MTA website.

The cost will be $2, and can be charged to a MetroCard.

Taxis

Taxis to/from LGA bill according to their meter. Expect to pay $20-40, depending on route and traffic conditions.

Airlines and Terminals

LaGuardia has four terminals connected by buses, or travellers can walk between terminals.

The Central Terminal Building (CTB) serves most of LaGuardia's domestic airlines, and has 4 concourses. There are three other terminals, the Delta Terminal, the Marine Terminal and the US Airways terminal.
