Introduction

Knowing the local language of wherever you're travelling is a great way to meet people. These language guides won't make you fluent, but they'll give you an excellent run-down of basic grammar rules, pronunciation and useful words and phrases.

If you have good knowledge of a language other than English, please jump in and help start a guide for that language! Find out about contributing to or starting a new phrasebook on our project page: Project:Language phrasebooks.
