Travel Guide Latin America

edit

Introduction

Latin America refers to the region of the Americas where Romanic languages are spoken. Basically, this comes down to countries where Spanish or Portugese is spoken, or some countries where French is the main language.
For more information about the specific countries, also see Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
In South America, all countries, except Guyana, the Falkland Islands and Suriname are Latin American. To add, all Central American countries plus Mexico are part of Latin America, and some of the Caribbean islands, including Hispaniola (Haiti and the Dominican Republic), Puerto Rico and Cuba.
