Introduction

Moldavia is a region in the northeast of Romania, bordering Moldova. The name also refers to the bigger historical region, part of which now lies in Ukraine and Moldova.

Moldavia consists of 6 counties: Neamt, Iasi, Galati, Bacau, Vaslui and Vrancea.
