Sights and Activities

  • Lake Nakuru National Park lies a couple of kilometres south of the centre of Nakuru. The park is most famous for its enormous flamingo population, consisting of both the Greater and Lesser species, though its white rhinos, leopards, and tree-climbing lions are also a draw. The entry fee is $60/$75 per day in low/high season (2011) for non-East Africa resident adults. The park is often visited on safaris starting in Nairobi that include the Masai Mara.
