Travel Guide Oceania Australia New South Wales Northern Rivers Nimbin
Nimbin is a small rural town about 70 kilometers inland from Byron Bay. Famous for counterculture, psychedelic art, and "home grown" goodies, it's a great destination for getting in tune with your inner hippie. The small boutiques are also great outlets for beautiful clothing and jewelery, as well as smoking paraphernalia at the local "Bring-a-Bong" store. The museum is always filled with interesting characters and mind-bending political artwork.
