Punta Cana is a region in the easternmost point of the Dominican Republic and is a popular tourist area.
Punta Cana has a tropical climate, with warm and humid conditions year round. The weather is fairly constant, with an average temperature of 26 °C. The warmest months are from April to November, and during the day temperatures rarely rise above 32 °C. From December to March, temperatures are just slightly lower but even during the evening it is still around 20 °C or more. The region is drier than average compared to the rest of the country, and most of the rain falls during the warmer months from June to October.
