Seminyak is a slightly more upmarket and quieter version of Kuta (to the south), where hostels and hotels do tend to cost a little more. However, it is a very quaint part of Bali where you can find anything you want. Be it a fancy restaurant or a roadside hawker, a warm beer with a live band or a sunset cocktail in an upper class bar.
There are a number of guesthouses ranging from 70.000rp to 100.000rp and there are luxurious places as well.
