Sights and Activities

A major attraction of the Southern region is the Caucauses mountain range. Here, travellers can hike and climb Cheget Peak and Mount Elbrus among other peaks. Elbrus, at 18,300 feet or 5642 metres, is the tallest mountain in Europe and recorded as one of the seven summits of the world.
