Tallahassee is a regional center for trade and agriculture, and contains the Tallahassee Regional Airport.

Weather

Hot and humid subtropical climate. Tallahasse is characterised with long summers with brief intense showers and thunderstorms and mild, short winters.

Summers are hotter than in the Florida peninsula, and it is one of the few cities in Florida to occasionally record temperatures above 38 °C.
